Access to Rethymno, Crete

Rethymno can be reached through the two nearest towns, Chania (distance of 60 km) and Heraklion (distance of 80 km). 

 
Access to Rethymno through Chania

There are two alternatives for arriving to Chania:

1) By airplane at the Chania Airport "Ioannis Daskalogiannis" (IATA: CHQ).

Access to Rethymno through Heraklion

There are two alternatives for arriving to Heraklion:

1) By airplane at the Heraklion Airport "Nikos Kazantzakis" (IATA: HER).

Accommodation

The SUSTENG 2024 Conference will be held in the town of Rethymno (Crete, Greece), where there is a big variety of accommodation choices.

We recommend that participants should book accommodation taking into account the location of the conference venue.

Visa requirements
